In the heart of the Itria Valley, in Locorotondo, an ancient masseria with trulli was subject to a refined project of restoration and architectural enhancement. The objective of the design was to preserve the authenticity of traditional Apulian forms — characterized by whitewashed walls, stone structures, and the iconic conical roofs — while integrating high-value contemporary elements capable of establishing a dialogue with the surrounding rural landscape. To enclose the arched openings and glass doors, the OS2 system in corten steel was chosen.
