With its 1,485 square kilometers of surface area, suspended between the Nahuatl name Āltepētl Mēxihco and the extreme simplification CDMX, Mexico City is the country’s largest urban area and one of the most populous places in the world. Within a territory where millennia-old cultural expressions coexist with symbols of modernity, Casa PN has taken up residence, offering its own private interpretation of the vast metropolitan context. In a sort of ecosystem of raw natural elements and geometric forms, minimal linearity and rustic-inspired details, grounded solidity and vivid innovation, the OS2 75 profiles in painted galvanized steel interact with and support the surrounding environment. They capture transparency and color, allowing the human intervention to be constantly interrupted and redefined by light, along with a semi-spontaneous, semi-controlled nature. It is a measured overtaking.
