Located in the historic center, Casa Atelier MZ restores and reinterprets a series of diverse volumes and open spaces once connected to a noble residence. The project weaves historical traces — such as the brick boundary wall, the ancient orchard, and the outline of former stables — into a new domestic and working environment, where living and creativity flow seamlessly together. Large operable glazed openings and Secco Sistemi steel windows connect the interior spaces to the garden, blurring the boundary between architecture and nature. The minimalist black steel profiles harmonize with materials like smoked glass, mirrors, linoleum, and perforated sheet metal, creating a dynamic play of light, reflection, and transparency. Casa Atelier MZ is both home and creative space, where design meets memory in a careful balance of geometric precision, material sensibility, and luminous atmosphere.
