EBE 85 selected for ADI Design Index 2013
Secco Sistemi is proud to announce that the Permanent Observatory of ADI Design selected EBE85 to be published in the ADI Design Index 2013. The ADI Design Index 2013 represents the third volume of a three-year cycle, which collects all the pieces chosen for the next Premio Compasso d’Oro ADI (ADI Golden Compass Award).
The award was conceived in 1954 by “La Rinascente” and then donated to ADI, which has been managing it since 1956. It is the most prestigious award for the quality of production of goods, services, processes and systems in the Italian Design industry. The award, which collects all the awarded products, has generated the biggest Historical Collection of Design. In 2004 this was declared “Asset of National Interest” as per Ministerial Decree no. 22.04.2004. The annual selection was carried out by the Permanent Observatory of ADI Design under strict procedures and solely according to merit. The Observatory was made up of over 100 experts divided into different committees operating on three different levels: Geographical Committees, Thematic Committees and Final Selection Committee.
Besides representing the pre-selection for the ADI Golden Compass Award, the ADI Design Index has become since 2009 the annual selection for the National Innovation Award, sponsored by the Presidency of the Republic, in which every year ADI chooses three products from those included in the ADI Design Index relating to the specific theme of innovation.
Secco Sistemi wish to say a special thank you to all the staff who have made this important achievement possible.
