Completed in December 2021, the James-Simon Galerie by David Chipperfield Architects represents the gateway to Berlin’s Museum Island. Together with the Archaeological Walk, it forms the backbone of the master plan drawn up in 1999 by the same architect and adopted as the basis for any further planning of the area.
