In Paris, just a stone’s throw away from Place des Vosges, Hôtel Voisyn is one of the Marais’ grands hôtels particuliers. With the same layout as the palaces built in the period of the Sun King, it goes from the courtyard at the entrance on Rue Turenne, to the garden behind where, at the end of the nineteenth century another building was added, offering an interesting example of twentieth-century industrial architecture. Thanks to its recent restoration, it is now a prestigious residential complex, with fifty apartments of different kinds and sizes: elegant, traditional apartments in the substantial volume of the palace, and sophisticated lofts with double height ceilings in the late nineteenth century pavilion looking onto the garden with a façade that is entirely made of glass. 0S2 65 system profiles in painted galvanised steel punctuate the transparent façade: this allows a faithful reproduction of the iron and glass architecture, maintaining the lightness of the original doors and windows whilst also guaranteeing the necessary quality and comfort for such luxury accommodation.
